Disposal Advice
Swisspers takes environmental responsibility very seriously and we are proud to say most Swisspers packaging can be recycled.
How do I remove soft plastic bags?
Soft plastic bags or packaging can be dropped off at your nearest RedCycle bin . Remove any string ties from the cotton pad packaging beforehand and dispose of ties in the rubbish bin.
Note: From 9th November 22, RedCycle has suspended collection of soft plastics in Australia. Until further notice, please dispose of this packaging in your regular rubbish bin. For more information go to https://redcycle.net.au/
What about hard plastic tubs?
Hard plastic tubs can be placed in your containers and plastic packaging recycling rubbish bins. Ideally remove label first and dispose of the label in the rubbish bin.
Are all cardboard materials recyclable?
Cardboard boxes are recyclable and can be flattened and put in the paper recycling bin. Facial wipes packaging is currently not able to be recycled and should be disposed of in the rubbish bin. Your local council will advise you on recycling opportunities in your local area.
How do I dispose of facial wipes and cotton products?
Facial wipes and cotton products such as Tips, Balls or Pads must never be disposed of in the toilet – please always dispose of them in the rubbish bin.
